Dangers of RSS

To those of you who use RSS *cough* Levi *cough* Eric *cough*, are you sure you know the true dangers that RSS feeds may impose? For example, theoretically lets say I publish a new poll on who had the nicest hair between the church staff. If you were subscribed to an RSS feed you would not know about the poll and therefor not get to vote on it. So sad. So make sure to check often on the site even if your subscribed. There's more than just blogs on www.solomonray.com

Real dart wars

The blog below was a freindly game. It has escalated into a war! Well
see who wins.

Dartboard war

Pretty self explanitory. Dad won. Josiah got middle. I lost.

Swampy

Those of you in Montana I'm sure have noticed the drop in tempature
lately. The results of that are in. A swamp. There's no other word to
describe it. Well I suppose some may argue that marsh, wasteland,
Florida and flood would also suffice, but swamp is the most accurate
word to ensure that you understand what our driveway has become. It is
also better than some of the rides at Disneyland when my dad speeds
through it with his plow and brakes the... brakes. Brown slop soars
and all somniferous things forgotten.

I am playing bass for active student ministries tonight. So I'm gonna
have fun doubly tonight.

Panic panic panic

I an freaking out. I need to have two songs perfect and I have two
days to practice. One is like six pages long and the other is only one
page. Seven pages is still panic inducing. I have no idea how I can
play both fluently by Thursday. Help!

Shane leaves

And so Shane leaves the party of my life momentarily. But his whole
family will be back in the summer. So until then, goodbye.

Sick Day on Sunday

On saturday i was fine, but when I got up this morning, (at six o'clock) I was throwing up like you would not believe. I won't go into details to save yourself from vomiting, but I finally stopped at like ten o'clock. By which point I realized I was in no state to go to church, much less man the video. So I watched it on the webcast and it was fine. I was disappointed I couldn't go of course, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. Hopefully I'll be able to make it through the Academy Awards tonight. What really bugs me though is that I don't get any of the perks of being sick. Like missing school. But maybe I'll still be sick on Monday? I never thought I would want to be sick, but if it means missing school, and the worst is over, I'll do it all day long (minus the vomiting).

Realtors

On our way to dog sledding, we saw this sign for a house that was
being sold. Once I saw this cookieheads mustache, I needed a picture
of it. Looking at him made me think that anyone who has the courage to
work that stache and glasses has to be either very brave or lost a
bet. If he IS very brave, then that must be one heckuva house.

Snowboarding

So yesterday me and Shane and my dad went up to whitefish resort on big mountain. It was actually pretty amazing surprisingly. The following pictures display awesomeness.

Airsoft

Me and shane plan an airsoft war with each other for the next day. Its
just buisness of course. This may look kind of sketchy, but I promise
there fake and are for freindly uses only.

Rodeo for two

I found his little joyride right before lost on Thursday.

DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION

Tonight, DDR (dance dance revolution) raged unbridled through the night. Unfortunately I really suck at it. But fortunately I only have one dance pad which I gladly gave to Shane to use. So i used a regular controller and danced with my fingers. (Not shown)

Special dog

Trying to rip a tree out of the ground. Later, shane helps.

Hype

Appearantly there has been some hype about my blog. People say that
I'm a "blogging wizard". Well I just want to say that I'm just a
normal guy who happens to have a mac. That being said, I do plan to
dominate and become the most frequently blogged blog in the bloggiverse.

Baby Shane

Somehow, Shane has always been called baby Shane for as long as I can
remember. My dad has insisted on calling him baby shane since he was
born. Amazingly he's now in sixth grade and the name has stuck to this
day.

Lunar Eclipse 08

First of all you must realize that the lunar eclipse happens only every two years in America, and it has to be a amazingly clear day for you to see anything at all. I was incredibly blessed to see all of that happen today. It looked so insanely alien and heavenly and it makes you wonder how in the world God can come up with phenomenon's such as this.

Halfway there

Well the Brigandi's are gone, and now its time for my cousin Shane to come up. Lots of snowboarding, gaming and other such homely funtivities.

Theres always room

For those of you who don't know, Levi's brother has a saying that
says, "there's always room for a slice". Of course he is referring to
pizza. So naturally when me, Josiah, Amy, Levi, Eric and my dad went
to second street pizza, Levi shared this nugget of knowledge with us. As
soon as he finished the "for a slice" I chimed in, "Or knot" and held
up my garlic knot. It was funny and eventually it passed into
oblivion. Or so I thought. When me and the fam went to second street,
low and behold, the knots returned! It brought back nice memories and
some laughs.

Winter Gardening

For science today, me, Izzi and Leah went to evaluate the garden... in the winter... So as you can imagine, it was basically like this a blank field of um... clean mud thats three feedeep. I don't know if you can get a feel of how deep it was or not from the picture, but at some points it was past my knees. Since it was so deep the gate wouldn't open. The snow came up to high to move it. So we (when I say we I mean I) climbed up the fence and jumped off. It doesn't look very high in the picture, but take into account another three feet and you have a leg breaker if your not careful. Fortunately, when my legs hit the snow, I slowed down dramatically and landed like an ice skater. Walking around was nigh-impossible, but manageable. After we mapped out where we would plant everything, we headed back to the house only to realize that I had left my notebook BACK AT THE GARDEN! With a groan I headed back to retrieve the nearly frozen notebook. But it was okay in the end. By the way, I am not on my knees in that picture. The snow is covering them.

Finger Trick

I just figured out how to do this trick with my fingers where I separate some of them from my hand. Oh? What's that you say? Impossible? Nay! Watch the video for proof.

Twisting game

Inevitably, every youth group eventually plays "the game that has no
name" as I call it. Its the one where you stand in a circle and grab a
persons hand across from you with both hands but you can't grab the
persons same hand that your other hand is grabbing. Lots of fun. Coy
also shared his feelings in the message about play places (he thinks
they are dirty and bloodstained), demolition derbys (awesome to
destroy stuff and/or watch stuff being destroyed), and valentimes day
(pointless). A great youth group.

Crazy twisting game

More later

Sorry

Sorry about the lack of updates but nothings been happening over the
last few days. Maybe something at church tonight will pop up bit if
not, I apologize for the lack of news.

THE GRAMMYS 50TH

Featuring much people. My focus was on Kanye West's temper when he accepted his Grammy for best rap album. He was talking and thanking people when they started playing the music on him. Well that didn't fly too well with Kanye. He said, "Hey, yo don't play your music on me. That aint cool." Later on, the music was still playing and he started talking about his mom who died recently and told them that was their cue to back off. So he was pretty mad. Even later on, some country guy got a Grammy given too him by Ringo, and he said smuggly, "I got a Grammy handed to me by a Beatle!  Ever had that happen Kanye?" After the laughter subsided, he said that he was kidding. Probably because he didn't want to get shot after the show was over.

Happy Saturday

Most people wouldn't picture half the day of driving to be a Saturday,
but if was mine this week. And it wasn't that bad. We went to the lake
(pictured earlier) and we picked up Harry Potter and the Chamber of
secrets on bluray at target( pronounced tar-jhay'), and I got some
warcrafting time in when we got home. So I'm not complaining.

Somebody stole the water!

So we came down to the lake house to see how things are going (any
broken pipes I'd things like that) and the water level went down
significantly. It made the dock look alot bigger with no water beneath
it. Also alivias pool from the summer was frozen solid. More pictures
later.

Too much Joe

So me and my mom went into izzi's room today to wake her up for
school. I looked around and saw what was worthy of the title "the Joe
Shrine". I personaly think its kind of creepy. Especially since she
has another one on the ceiling above her bed. What's more is that
those posters are held up by tacks peircing the wall. So inevitably in
a year when she doesn't like him anymore, the wall will look like a
sponge.

Jazz

So tonight, the fam and I went out to dinner at the boat club. If you
listened really closely (or were in the bathroom), they were playing
the smoothest of jazz. Complete with squiggly saxaphone and people
snapping in unison. I also saw Herold the nightengales distant cousin,
Gregory.

Always the unexpected

As I headed into metro for a halfdays work, I noticed this giant
matress on the floor. For a second I thought kevin had slept here over
night but dismissed the idea after realizing that he doesn't work on
Thursday. So I put the matress back up and to this day do not know why
it was there. Did it just fall? Or does a little gremlin sleep down
here at night? The possibilities are endless!

इ गिव इन

Ok so maybe Blogger is better for mobile, and you can attach pictures and videos with almost as much ease as with iWeb, and everyone else in the world uses it, but you know what? I am using it because of none of these reasons. I am using it because there are too many weird and funny things that happen in my day that doesn't get bloggified. Well now it will. As soon as I figure out how to mobile blog.
