Winter Gardening

For science today, me, Izzi and Leah went to evaluate the garden... in the winter... So as you can imagine, it was basically like this a blank field of um... clean mud thats three feedeep. I don't know if you can get a feel of how deep it was or not from the picture, but at some points it was past my knees. Since it was so deep the gate wouldn't open. The snow came up to high to move it. So we (when I say we I mean I) climbed up the fence and jumped off. It doesn't look very high in the picture, but take into account another three feet and you have a leg breaker if your not careful. Fortunately, when my legs hit the snow, I slowed down dramatically and landed like an ice skater. Walking around was nigh-impossible, but manageable. After we mapped out where we would plant everything, we headed back to the house only to realize that I had left my notebook BACK AT THE GARDEN! With a groan I headed back to retrieve the nearly frozen notebook. But it was okay in the end. By the way, I am not on my knees in that picture. The snow is covering them.
